We stayed at Kelly Rock Springs Park 2/24-2/28/2020. This was our first stay outside of our home and family's property. We were spoiled. This park is beautiful!
We loved how roomy the sites were. The roads coming in were easy to navigate. We had a back in site that was not hard at all to back into and get set up. Had zero issues with water and electric. It was a quiet week. Not busy at all.
The run takes approximately 25 minutes to tube down.
At the end of the run there is a great swimming hole area. Lots of picnic tables, benches and places to gather. Even a concession stand.
Water temp ranges from 68-72 degrees year round.
Park does not have tube rentals, but businesses near by have them. You can bring your own noodles or floats as long as they're not bigger than 5ft.
We enjoyed the trails and hiking along the spring.
The paths were well marked and not confusing to follow.
Even my two year old enjoyed walking and exploring the different trails. Was a great way to get out some energy.
There are also very nice pavilions of all sizes you can rent if you have parties or need for large groups.
The playground is huge and well maintained. It's up to date with really neat features kids of all ages will enjoy. My two year old enjoyed having it to herself!
Over all this is a place we will definitely visit again when home in Florida. It is a beautiful well maintained park. Summer and holiday weekends are supposed to be the busy season. You can book 45 days out.
We look forward to more great places like this one as we continue our travels. Stay tuned for more reviews of where we stay and other content.
